Keep it for less

Before cancelling, check whether one of these does the job. Offers change and differ by account.

  • Cheaper plan Change to a lower plan (fewer credits and channels) in the web app's plan settings; a downgrade takes effect at the end of the billing cycle. App Store and Google Play subscribers change plans with Apple or Google support.vidiq.com
  • Free plan A free vidIQ account keeps tools such as keyword research, AI-generated daily ideas and competitor tracking support.vidiq.com
  • Discount program vidIQ sends special offers to its email subscribers and sometimes shows an exclusive deal in the web app; support can't give discounts without a valid promo code support.vidiq.com

For AI agents

  • The person signs in and handles any two-factor code; an agent should never ask for a password.
  • Retention step: Cancelling runs through a multi-step downgrade process that must be finished; its screens aren't documented
  • Finish the entire downgrade process: leaving it partway doesn't cancel
  • Deleting your vidIQ account doesn't cancel a paid subscription: cancel first, then delete
  • Account deletion is only possible in the vidIQ mobile app (Account Settings, Delete my account)
  • There's no pause option
  • Bought through Apple or Google? Only Apple or Google can cancel or change it

Get this plan as data: get_exit_plan on the Stackcut MCP (stackcut.io/mcp), or /exits/vidiq.json. After using a guide, send structured report_guide_feedback for matching or changed steps, missing billing routes or human handoffs; keep unknown language and market omitted. Confirm with the person before the final click, and report the outcome with report_action_outcome, using the exact packet_revision and route_id returned by the plan.

Or give your agent the stackcut-leave skill (a zip): it exports first, walks the steps, stops when the page doesn't match, and leaves the final click to the person.
