How to cancel Fireflies.ai

An admin cancels in the web app under Settings, Account, Subscriptions (Cancel, pick a reason, Proceed With Cancellation), at least 24 hours before the period ends; the account drops to Free. Gotcha: an AI Credits add-on is a separate subscription and must be cancelled separately under Settings, Billing.

What happens to your data

Meetings, transcripts and recordings stay accessible within the Free plan's limits. Deleting the account deactivates it at once and permanently erases the data after 30 days. After the Terms end, Fireflies deletes content within a reasonable timeframe, keeping copies for archival, backup and legal compliance.

What you lose

  • Paid-plan features at the end of the billing period
  • Anything beyond the Free plan's limits (limited AI summaries, 400 minutes of storage per team)
