How to cancel Dialpad

Monthly plans with 10 or fewer licenses (and trials): an admin cancels in Admin Settings, Billing Summary. Annual plans and bigger accounts: email the Customer Success Team 30+ days before the term ends; early exits owe the full annual term. Port numbers out first. Refunds only within 3 days.

The short answer

  • Where: If you want to keep your numbers, port them out first and wait until your new provider has ported them in.
  • Contract notice: Every term renews automatically for the same length unless you notify Dialpad customer service of non-renewal at least 30 days before it ends (unless your order says otherwise) How to give notice
  • Before you go: export Call logs (date, time, route and number for each call). What to save
  • Want to keep it for less? Fewer seats and more. Options

Before you cancel

Export first

  • Call logs (date, time, route and number for each call): In the admin portal, open Analytics, select the This office filter and a date range, then Export (.csv), Call Logs, Send Report; a download link arrives (CSV). Admins and users with Analytics permission can export office-wide data; other users export only their own. Availability depends on the plan help.dialpad.com
  • Call recordings: In the Dialpad inbox (Recordings tab) or Conversation History, open the options menu (three vertical dots) next to the call and select Download (MP3) help.dialpad.com

What happens to your data

On termination, all information associated with the account is deleted or destroyed under Dialpad's Privacy Policy. A Dialpad Meetings account downgraded to Free keeps its call logs and recordings.

What you lose

  • Numbers you haven't ported out: Dialpad says not to cancel until a port-out is complete
  • Unused calling credits and international calling credits, which expire on the termination date
  • Account information, which is deleted after termination

Get this plan as data: get_exit_plan on the Stackcut MCP (stackcut.io/mcp), or /exits/dialpad.json. After using a guide, send structured report_guide_feedback for matching or changed steps, missing billing routes or human handoffs; keep unknown language and market omitted. Confirm with the person before the final click, and report the outcome with report_action_outcome, using the exact packet_revision and route_id returned by the plan.

Or give your agent the stackcut-leave skill (a zip): it exports first, walks the steps, stops when the page doesn't match, and leaves the final click to the person.
