The short answer
- Where: Sign in and go to Account & Billing in tl;dv's settings (tldv.io).
- Before you go: export Meeting recordings. What to save
- Want to keep it for less? Free plan and more. Options
Before you cancel
Export first
- Meeting recordings: Open the meeting and use the download button at the top of the meeting page. Both the recording's owner and the person downloading need a Pro or Enterprise plan, plus editor or admin rights; no bulk downloads. Recordings made on Free can be downloaded only in the 4 weeks before their scheduled deletion intercom.help intercom.help
- Transcripts: Hover over the transcript and click the copy button; the transcript is copied to your clipboard to paste and save (Text copied to the clipboard). Both the meeting's owner and the person copying need a Pro or Enterprise plan intercom.help
What happens to your data
Pro recordings are stored for as long as you stay a customer; what happens to them after cancelling isn't stated. Recordings made on the Free plan are kept 3 months, with an email 4 weeks before deletion. Account termination may destroy the content in the account.
What you lose
- Downloading recordings and transcripts (both owner and downloader need Pro or Enterprise)
- Full AI notes beyond the Free plan's limits
Cancel, by who bills you
Pick the route for whoever charges you: the name on your card statement or receipt tells you.

Keep it for less
Before cancelling, check whether one of these does the job. Offers change and differ by account.
- Free plan The Free plan keeps unlimited recordings and transcripts, but recordings are stored for 3 months, and after your first 10 meetings AI notes cover only the first 10 minutes of each intercom.help intercom.help
- Fewer seats You pay only for workspace members who need paid features; others can stay on Free in the same workspace intercom.help
- Student or nonprofit price Non-profits and NGOs can get a discount: message Support Chat with the number of seats and your cause, and tl;dv sends an offer intercom.help
Cheaper ways to get the same job done
Stackcut prices the alternatives to tl;dv from public list prices.
For AI agents
- The person signs in and handles any two-factor code; an agent should never ask for a password.
- Cancelling happens in Stripe: Account & Billing, Manage subscription, then Cancel plan
- Download recordings and copy transcripts before cancelling: both need Pro or Enterprise, and there are no bulk exports
- Recordings made on Free are deleted after 3 months; tl;dv emails 4 weeks before and turns on download for them
- Members who don't need paid features can stay on Free, which lowers the bill
- Fees are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed
Get this plan as data: get_exit_plan on the Stackcut MCP (stackcut.io/mcp), or /exits/tldv.json. After using a guide, send structured report_guide_feedback for matching or changed steps, missing billing routes or human handoffs; keep unknown language and market omitted. Confirm with the person before the final click, and report the outcome with report_action_outcome, using the exact packet_revision and route_id returned by the plan.
Or give your agent the stackcut-leave skill (a zip): it exports first, walks the steps, stops when the page doesn't match, and leaves the final click to the person.

Not confirmed yet
- When a cancelled Pro plan ends, and what then happens to recordings made on Pro, isn't documented
- Which workspace roles can cancel isn't stated
- Business and Enterprise cancellation isn't documented; the support chat route is the help page's general contact
- tl;dv's Terms have no auto-renewal clause or notice period; they mention stopping use by contacting an email address that is hidden on the page
- tl;dv's help doesn't mention App Store or Google Play billing (the Mobile App article says nothing about purchases), so there are no app store routes
- The recording download file format isn't stated
