How to cancel Short.io

Cancel a trial or paid plan by downgrading to the Free plan (Organization Settings, Plan tab, Downgrade, Confirm change) as the account owner. Paid features end immediately, with prorated credit; links keep working within Free limits. Refunds are case by case. Link export must be switched on by support first.

For AI agents

  • The person signs in and handles any two-factor code; an agent should never ask for a password.
  • Cancelling is done by downgrading to the Free plan, and paid features end at once (mid-cycle changes are prorated), so export first
  • Sign in as the account owner: the help center says the owner can downgrade
  • Plans don't expire on their own: they renew monthly or yearly until you cancel
  • Link export needs support to enable it, so ask before cancelling or deleting
  • Deleting the account (Settings, Profile, Delete this account) permanently removes domains and links

Get this plan as data: get_exit_plan on the Stackcut MCP (stackcut.io/mcp), or /exits/short_io.json. After using a guide, send structured report_guide_feedback for matching or changed steps, missing billing routes or human handoffs; keep unknown language and market omitted. Confirm with the person before the final click, and report the outcome with report_action_outcome, using the exact packet_revision and route_id returned by the plan.

Or give your agent the stackcut-leave skill (a zip): it exports first, walks the steps, stops when the page doesn't match, and leaves the final click to the person.
