How to cancel Rebrandly

Cancel in Settings, Subscription & Usage, Cancel subscription: auto-renewal stops and the account drops to the Free plan on the renewal date. Domains bought through Rebrandly and add-ons renew separately, so cancel those too. Monthly fees are never refunded; Enterprise plans go through your account manager.

The short answer

  • Where: Click the profile icon, then Settings.
  • When it ends: Auto-renewal turns off; paid features stay until the end of the current billing period, then the account switches to the Free plan on the renewal date.
  • Contract notice: The subscription renews automatically at the end of its term (the Anniversary Date shown at purchase, in the dashboard or in the order form); the Terms require thirty (30) days' written notice, sent to legal@rebrandly.com, or turning off auto-renewal in the Dashboard. How to give notice
  • Before you go: export Click analytics (link clicks, with the fields and filters you choose). What to save
  • Want to keep it for less? Free plan and more. Options

Before you cancel

Export first

  • Click analytics (link clicks, with the fields and filters you choose): Click Analytics, then Exports, then New export; choose On demand or Scheduled, set the workspace, date range and filters, pick the fields, then click Create (CSV (aggregate statistics can only be saved as PDF)). Every paid plan has a monthly export limit, and each run of a scheduled export counts toward it support.rebrandly.com support.rebrandly.com

What happens to your data

The account and links stay on the Free plan: workspaces and domains over its allowance become locked, and their links are locked but keep redirecting. Permanently removing your data is a separate request to support. If a renewal isn't cancelled or paid, the Terms let Rebrandly delete link and dashboard data without notice.

What you lose

  • Creating new links in workspaces or on custom domains over the Free plan's allowance (they become locked)
  • Paid features and limits, such as more links a month and extra workspaces
  • Your current plan, if it is no longer on the pricing page: you can't return to it later
  • Links on a cancelled Rebrandly-bought domain, once the domain is detached and DNS updates

For AI agents

  • The person signs in and handles any two-factor code; an agent should never ask for a password.
  • Cancelling the plan does not cancel domains bought through Rebrandly or add-ons: turn off each domain's autorenew and remove add-ons under Manage bundles
  • Domain renewals are charged about 30 days before the renewal date
  • Upgrading or keeping the plan from Subscription & Usage cancels a scheduled downgrade
  • Permanently deleting (anonymizing) your data is a separate request to support and ends use of the account
  • Bought through an authorized reseller, distributor or marketplace? The Terms say that party collects the fees, and they give no separate cancel process, so contact whoever bills you

Get this plan as data: get_exit_plan on the Stackcut MCP (stackcut.io/mcp), or /exits/rebrandly.json. After using a guide, send structured report_guide_feedback for matching or changed steps, missing billing routes or human handoffs; keep unknown language and market omitted. Confirm with the person before the final click, and report the outcome with report_action_outcome, using the exact packet_revision and route_id returned by the plan.

Or give your agent the stackcut-leave skill (a zip): it exports first, walks the steps, stops when the page doesn't match, and leaves the final click to the person.
