Keep it for less

Before cancelling, check whether one of these does the job. Offers change and differ by account.

  • Free plan The Free plan allows up to 5 saved reports per user and 1M total events; cohorts can't be saved, and lookup tables, custom properties and permissions aren't included docs.mixpanel.com
  • Discount program Startup Program: companies incorporated less than five years ago that raised no more than $8 million and were never on a paid plan get their first year free on the Startup Plan (they must send data within 90 days of acceptance) docs.mixpanel.com

For AI agents

  • The person signs in and handles any two-factor code; an agent should never ask for a password.
  • Only users with Owner or Billing Admin permissions can downgrade
  • The downgrade is a request: keep the Downgrade Request Email as proof
  • Downgrading keeps the account on the Free plan. Deleting a project (project or organization owners only) makes it inaccessible at once, and its data is permanently deleted after 60 to 90 days
  • Contracts renew automatically, and each renewal term costs 7% more than the last unless you opt out in writing
  • Growth plans bought after February 2025 include the first 1M events free each month

Get this plan as data: get_exit_plan on the Stackcut MCP (stackcut.io/mcp), or /exits/mixpanel.json. After using a guide, send structured report_guide_feedback for matching or changed steps, missing billing routes or human handoffs; keep unknown language and market omitted. Confirm with the person before the final click, and report the outcome with report_action_outcome, using the exact packet_revision and route_id returned by the plan.

Or give your agent the stackcut-leave skill (a zip): it exports first, walks the steps, stops when the page doesn't match, and leaves the final click to the person.
