How to cancel GMass

Cancel in the GMass dashboard: Settings, then Account, then Cancel. Card subscribers keep the plan to the end of the paid period; PayPal subscribers must cancel in PayPal and lose the unused time. Emailing support or uninstalling the extension doesn't cancel.

Online, self-serve Credit card subscriptions, through the GMass button in Gmail's compose window. Who can cancel: Anyone logged in to a Gmail account connected to GMass, if you no longer have access to the subscribed account.

  1. Check that the GMass extension is installed, so the red GMass button shows in Gmail's compose window
  2. Open a new Gmail compose window and set To to cancel@gmass.co (it is a command, not a real email address)
  3. If you are logged in to a different account than the subscribed one, enter the subscribed account's email address in Subject; otherwise leave Subject blank
  4. Click the red GMass button, not Gmail's Send button

Keep it for less

Before cancelling, check whether one of these does the job. Offers change and differ by account.

  • Cheaper plan Move to a lower paid plan: open My Account in the dashboard, change the plan, and click Save Plan. This can't cancel a subscription, can't switch annual billing to monthly, and can't move a Team Plan to a non-Team plan. PayPal subscribers can't use it gmass.co
  • Pay yearly Annual billing lowers the monthly price: Standard is $249 a year (about $20 a month), Premium $349 (about $29 a month) and Professional $599 (about $49 a month), against $29.95, $39.95 and $59.95 billed monthly gmass.co
  • Student or nonprofit price Google Workspace accounts on a .org or .edu domain get 15% off the published prices automatically; other nonprofits don't qualify gmass.co
  • Pause Subscribe only in the months you need to send: GMass suggests this for occasional senders, but each month is billed in full gmass.co
