How to cancel Crisp

Cancel per workspace: Settings, Billing, Plans & Subscriptions, Change Plan, pick Free and confirm. Each workspace is billed separately, and deleting a workspace doesn't end its subscription. Monthly plans lose paid features at once and the month isn't refunded; Crisp gives no refunds, including for prepaid years.

The short answer

  • Where: Sign in to Crisp and open Settings, then Billing, then Plans & Subscriptions for the workspace you want to cancel (app.crisp.chat).
  • When it ends: Monthly plans: immediately, with loss of the plan's paid features. Yearly plans: the Terms say termination takes effect on the first day following the renewal of the annual subscription period.
  • Before you go: export Contact profiles. What to save
  • Want to keep it for less? Free plan and more. Options

Before you cancel

Export first

  • Contact profiles: Open Contacts, then Actions, then Export Contact Profiles; Crisp prepares the file and emails you when it's ready (CSV). Needs Crisp CRM on the Essentials plan or higher, so export before downgrading to Free; up to 500,000 contacts (contact Crisp for more) help.crisp.chat
  • Conversations: Use the Crisp API to build or run a custom export; there is no native export from the dashboard. Conversation data can't be exported as a native CSV from the dashboard help.crisp.chat

What happens to your data

Downgrading keeps the workspace on the Free plan. When the agreement ends, Crisp irreversibly deletes the account and its data; a deleted account can't be recovered.

What you lose

  • The paid plan's features, at once for monthly plans
  • Contact exports, which need the Essentials plan or higher
  • AI credits: the Free plan includes none

Can I pause Crisp instead of cancelling?

Ask Crisp support for a temporary suspension of a workspace for one upcoming month; if approved, the workspace may move to a temporary trial so access continues. If the cycle already renewed, the pause may apply to the next cycle instead of a refund.

For AI agents

  • The person signs in and handles any two-factor code; an agent should never ask for a password.
  • Each workspace is billed separately: cancel every paid workspace
  • Deleting a workspace doesn't end its subscription: downgrade the plan to Free first
  • Export contacts before downgrading, since contact export needs the Essentials plan or higher
  • Deleting the Crisp account is permanent, and first requires leaving or deleting workspaces, cancelling subscriptions and removing saved cards (Settings, Billing, Cards)
  • Charged before the downgrade went through? Ask Crisp support for a billing review
  • Hugo AI use past the plan's included credits is billed only if you turned on Pay-As-You-Go (by default Hugo just stops). If you did, you can switch Hugo off in AI Agent, Agent, Activation

Get this plan as data: get_exit_plan on the Stackcut MCP (stackcut.io/mcp), or /exits/crisp.json. After using a guide, send structured report_guide_feedback for matching or changed steps, missing billing routes or human handoffs; keep unknown language and market omitted. Confirm with the person before the final click, and report the outcome with report_action_outcome, using the exact packet_revision and route_id returned by the plan.

Or give your agent the stackcut-leave skill (a zip): it exports first, walks the steps, stops when the page doesn't match, and leaves the final click to the person.
