How to cancel Beacons

On a computer (not mobile), open Account Settings, Billing, pick the subscription, click Manage, then Cancel. Premium features end immediately, with no prorated refund, and you drop to the Free plan. A custom domain is unlinked, and domains bought through Beacons stay Beacons' property ($70 transfer).

Before you cancel

Export first

  • Your Audience (email subscribers): Sign in, go to Audience, and click the grey download icon under the blue Import Audience Members button. For ongoing sync, subscribers can also be sent to Mailchimp or Zapier (Spreadsheet file) help.beacons.ai

What happens to your data

Cancelling keeps the account on the Free plan. Deleting it (after cancelling back to free) removes your password and all related information, files and content, though Beacons may be required to keep some information for a time.

What you lose

  • Premium features, which can change your page's appearance and functionality
  • Your custom domain: domains are only available on paid plans and are unlinked when the account drops to the free plan
  • A domain obtained through Beacons stays Beacons' property; transferring it out costs a one-time $70
