How to cancel Spark

If you bought on desktop or the web, cancel in Spark Settings: your email address, Manage, then cancel. Apple, Google Play and Huawei purchases cancel in that store. Team Owners cancel in Team settings or by email at least 5 business days before the period ends. Deleting the app does not cancel.

The short answer

  • Where: Open Spark Settings.
  • When it ends: At the end of the then-current subscription period; the account stays open with Spark's free features.
  • Billed by someone else? Cancel with them instead: Apple, Google Play or a partner.
  • Want to keep it for less? Free plan and more. Options

Before you cancel

What happens to your data

Cancelling doesn't close the account. Spark's Terms say it may close accounts with no paid subscription after more than 36 months of inactivity, and will give notice to back up content.

What you lose

  • Paid features on all your devices; the free features stay
  • Any credits on the account balance

For AI agents

  • The person signs in and handles any two-factor code; an agent should never ask for a password.
  • Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription; deleting the Spark account does cancel a Stripe-billed individual subscription
  • Apple, Google Play and Huawei subscriptions have to be cancelled in that store's settings, not in Spark
  • Some Stripe-billed subscriptions can only be cancelled in the Stripe Customer Portal
  • On a team plan, only the Team Owner can cancel, at least 5 business days before the period ends
  • Free trials convert to paid; cancel at least 24 hours before the billing date

Get this plan as data: get_exit_plan on the Stackcut MCP (stackcut.io/mcp), or /exits/spark.json. After using a guide, send structured report_guide_feedback for matching or changed steps, missing billing routes or human handoffs; keep unknown language and market omitted. Confirm with the person before the final click, and report the outcome with report_action_outcome, using the exact packet_revision and route_id returned by the plan.

Or give your agent the stackcut-leave skill (a zip): it exports first, walks the steps, stops when the page doesn't match, and leaves the final click to the person.
