The short answer
- Where: On your Workspace page, click your avatar/profile image, then Settings.
- When it ends: You keep your current plan's features until the plan changes to Starter (Free); the downgrade applies as of your next billing date.
- Billed by someone else? Cancel with them instead: Apple or Google Play.
- Before you go: export Form submissions (all of them, or only the entries you select or filter). What to save
- Want to keep it for less? Free plan and more. Options
Before you cancel
Export first
- Form submissions (all of them, or only the entries you select or filter): Open the form's submissions in Tables, click Download All in the upper-right corner, then choose Download as CSV, Download as Excel or Download as PDF (CSV or Excel (downloads when ready); PDF as one file per submission, zipped and emailed to your registered email address). Download before downgrading: going over the Starter plan's limits (500 stored submissions) may cause you to lose forms and submissions jotform.com jotform.com jotform.com
What happens to your data
After a downgrade, data stays stored as long as it fits within the free plan's 500 stored submissions. When a subscription expires, Jotform may stop hosting your forms and data and delete data under its internal policies. If you close the account and make your forms unavailable, your personal info is deleted after one month.
What you lose
- Forms and submissions beyond the Starter limits may be lost when you downgrade
- Higher limits on forms, submissions, form views, upload space and submission storage

Get this plan as data: get_exit_plan on the Stackcut MCP (stackcut.io/mcp), or /exits/jotform.json. After using a guide, send structured report_guide_feedback for matching or changed steps, missing billing routes or human handoffs; keep unknown language and market omitted. Confirm with the person before the final click, and report the outcome with report_action_outcome, using the exact packet_revision and route_id returned by the plan.
Or give your agent the stackcut-leave skill (a zip): it exports first, walks the steps, stops when the page doesn't match, and leaves the final click to the person.
