How to cancel Freepik

Freepik is now Magnific. Click your profile picture, then Plan & billing, then Danger zone, Cancel a subscription, and Cancel subscription; the plan stays active until the paid period ends. Refunds only within 30 days and only if nothing was downloaded and no AI credits used. Plan credits expire.

The short answer

  • Where: Click your profile picture and select Plan & billing.
  • When it ends: Auto-renewal stops; the plan stays active until the end of the period you've already paid for.
  • Billed by someone else? Cancel with them instead: Apple or Google Play.
  • Before you go: export Your generated content (images, videos, audio). What to save
  • Want to keep it for less? Pay yearly and more. Options

Before you cancel

Export first

  • Your generated content (images, videos, audio): It stays in your account after cancelling and can still be downloaded. Files you downloaded while subscribed keep their commercial license magnific.com

What happens to your data

Generated content stays in your account and can still be downloaded. The help docs say extra (purchased) credits are frozen, not deleted, and come back if you resubscribe within their 3-year validity; the Terms of Use instead say unused Extra Credits are cancelled without refund when you drop to a free account.

What you lose

  • Premium stock content: downloads revert to free-tier limits
  • Plan credits, which expire and can't be recovered (unused AI credits can't be used once the subscription ends)
  • Use of your extra credits (frozen per the help docs, cancelled per the Terms of Use)
  • New downloads under the subscription (files already downloaded keep their commercial license)
  • Business plans: all access for the team and any unused Usage Credits and Extra Credits, when the Business Subscription ends

Keep it for less

Before cancelling, check whether one of these does the job. Offers change and differ by account.

  • Pay yearly Annual billing saves 25% compared with monthly, per the pricing page magnific.com
  • Cheaper plan Switch to a lower plan at any time; the downgrade takes effect at the end of the current billing period magnific.com
  • Fewer seats Business plans: reduce the number of seats; the reduction takes effect at the end of the current Subscription Term magnific.com

For AI agents

  • The person signs in and handles any two-factor code; an agent should never ask for a password.
  • Freepik has been renamed Magnific: freepik.com's pricing and legal pages redirect to magnific.com
  • Any download (on Magnific.com or Flaticon.com) or any AI credit use rules out the 30-day refund
  • Send refund requests from the email address linked to the account
  • App Store and Google Play subscriptions are cancelled and refunded by Apple or Google, not Magnific
  • Use plan credits before the period ends: they expire and can't be recovered
  • Removing a card doesn't stop renewal: a failed renewal payment is retried three more times (after 1, 7 and 21 days)

Get this plan as data: get_exit_plan on the Stackcut MCP (stackcut.io/mcp), or /exits/freepik.json. After using a guide, send structured report_guide_feedback for matching or changed steps, missing billing routes or human handoffs; keep unknown language and market omitted. Confirm with the person before the final click, and report the outcome with report_action_outcome, using the exact packet_revision and route_id returned by the plan.

Or give your agent the stackcut-leave skill (a zip): it exports first, walks the steps, stops when the page doesn't match, and leaves the final click to the person.
