The short answer
- Where: Open your Airtable account overview (airtable.com).
- When it ends: Not immediate: the downgrade takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle, and you keep the plan's features until then.
- Contract notice: Set by the separate master subscription agreement that governs Enterprise Scale, Enterprise and sales-led Business accounts. How to give notice
- Before you go: export Invoices and receipts for each workspace. What to save
- Want to keep it for less? Free plan and more. Options
Before you cancel
Export first
- Invoices and receipts for each workspace: Account overview, select the workspace under Workspace settings, click Billing, click View invoice, then Download invoice or Download receipt. Owner permissions are required support.airtable.com
- Records from a base accessible to the API token: Use Airtable's Web API to list records. Results are returned in pages of up to 100 records; follow the returned offset to request each next page, stopping when no offset is returned. This retrieves records through the API rather than producing a native CSV export.. Responses contain up to 100 records per page; use the returned offset for later pages until no offset is returned. Workspace Owner or base Creator permissions are generally useful for API work. Returned records omit fields with empty values. support.airtable.com
What happens to your data

- Automations beyond the Free plan quota (runs are paused or limited)
- Syncing from paid sources (synced tables become read-only or stop syncing)

Keep it for less
Before cancelling, check whether one of these does the job. Offers change and differ by account.

For AI agents
- The person signs in and handles any two-factor code; an agent should never ask for a password.
- Airtable bills per workspace, not per account: downgrade every paid workspace you own
- Deleting your account doesn't stop billing on its own: remove each Team and Business workspace's payment method first, and transfer ownership where you're the sole owner
- Shared workspaces and bases are not deleted when you delete your account
- Adding billable collaborators to an annual plan charges their full remaining annual contract
- Switching from annual to monthly keeps you on the annual plan until the end of the billing cycle
- Enterprise Scale and sales-led Business plans can't be downgraded in the app: contact your sales team contact
- Deleting or cancelling an Airtable account isn't available in the Android app
Get this plan as data: get_exit_plan on the Stackcut MCP (stackcut.io/mcp), or /exits/airtable.json. After using a guide, send structured report_guide_feedback for matching or changed steps, missing billing routes or human handoffs; keep unknown language and market omitted. Confirm with the person before the final click, and report the outcome with report_action_outcome, using the exact packet_revision and route_id returned by the plan.
Or give your agent the stackcut-leave skill (a zip): it exports first, walks the steps, stops when the page doesn't match, and leaves the final click to the person.
