Keep it for less
Before cancelling, check whether one of these does the job. Offers change and differ by account.
- Free plan Move to the Free plan if the organization has 10 users or fewer. It doesn't happen automatically: change it in the Plan tab of Billing settings; the switch takes effect at the start of your next billing cycle shortcut.com
- Pay yearly Annual billing is discounted; switch between monthly and annual in the Plan tab of Billing settings. The annual charge is processed right away shortcut.com
- Fewer seats Remove users you no longer need; a removed user's seat stays open until the end of the billing cycle, and the count drops at the next billing date if it isn't filled shortcut.com
For AI agents
- The person signs in and handles any two-factor code; an agent should never ask for a password.
- Only an Owner can disable the Organization
- Disabling keeps your payment information on file; ask Support to remove it
- Re-enabling the Organization starts a new billing cycle and a new invoice
- Export Stories as CSV before disabling; backups are your responsibility
- Owners are the only ones who can get invoice copies
Get this plan as data: get_exit_plan on the Stackcut MCP (stackcut.io/mcp), or /exits/shortcut.json. After using a guide, send structured report_guide_feedback for matching or changed steps, missing billing routes or human handoffs; keep unknown language and market omitted. Confirm with the person before the final click, and report the outcome with report_action_outcome, using the exact packet_revision and route_id returned by the plan.
Or give your agent the stackcut-leave skill (a zip): it exports first, walks the steps, stops when the page doesn't match, and leaves the final click to the person.
