Keep it for less
Before cancelling, check whether one of these does the job. Offers change and differ by account.
- Fewer seats You're billed for active users: every user who isn't suspended or a pending invite counts, so suspending people you don't need lowers the count. Plans are set by member count, and a team that outgrows its plan moves up a tier automatically docs.getoutline.com getoutline.com
- Student or nonprofit price A 30% discount is available for nonprofits and education getoutline.com
For AI agents
- The person signs in and handles any two-factor code; an agent should never ask for a password.
- Only workspace admins can cancel
- To switch between monthly and yearly billing or pay by ACH, contact Outline support at hello@getoutline.com
- The first 30 days of a new team are free; after the trial the knowledge base turns read-only until a payment method is added, and you can still export everything
- On a yearly plan you're charged for all active users at the time you upgrade
Get this plan as data: get_exit_plan on the Stackcut MCP (stackcut.io/mcp), or /exits/outline.json. After using a guide, send structured report_guide_feedback for matching or changed steps, missing billing routes or human handoffs; keep unknown language and market omitted. Confirm with the person before the final click, and report the outcome with report_action_outcome, using the exact packet_revision and route_id returned by the plan.
Or give your agent the stackcut-leave skill (a zip): it exports first, walks the steps, stops when the page doesn't match, and leaves the final click to the person.
