How to cancel Insomnia

Cancel in the Account section at app.insomnia.rest: an email asking to cancel doesn't count. Fees are paid in advance and aren't refunded; changes are prorated. Deleting the account erases data within 30 days, so export first (Preferences, Data, Export all data). Teams over 50 users go through Kong sales.

Before you cancel

Export first

  • Everything in your account: In the Insomnia app, go to Preferences, then Data, and click Export all data. You can also export a single project (every workspace in it) or one API Collection (Insomnia v5 file format (HAR is also offered)) developer.konghq.com

What happens to your data

Deleting the account disables it immediately and deletes all account data within 30 days; Kong has no obligation to keep data after the agreement ends.
