How to cancel Frill

Frill's billing lives in Settings, which only Admins can change, but its help centre and terms don't describe cancelling, refunds or notice. Export users, ideas, votes and comments to CSV first (Settings, Misc and Settings, Privacy, Export Data). The 14-day trial needs no credit card.

The short answer

  • Where: Sign in to Frill as an Admin and open Settings, where billing is configured.
  • Before you go: export Users and followers: name and email, join and last-activity dates, ideas, votes and comments counts, custom attributes, segments and blocked status. What to save
  • Want to keep it for less? Cheaper plan and more. Options

Before you cancel

Export first

  • Users and followers: name and email, join and last-activity dates, ideas, votes and comments counts, custom attributes, segments and blocked status: Go to Settings, then Misc, find Data Export, click Export Data, choose Users and Followers from the dropdown and click Generate Export; Frill emails you a download link when the export is ready (CSV) frill.co
  • Ideas, votes and comments: Go to Settings, then Privacy, then Export Data, and choose Ideas, Votes or Comments (CSV) frill.co
  • Personal information Frill holds about you: Ask Frill to transfer it, or to erase it, under its privacy policy (CSV or another machine-readable format, where possible) frill.co

What happens to your data

Frill's privacy policy says it doesn't keep personal information longer than necessary, without giving a period; you can ask it to erase your personal information at any time.

Cancel, by who bills you

Pick the route for whoever charges you: the name on your card statement or receipt tells you.

Billed by Frill

Online, self-serve Startup, Business, Growth and Enterprise plans, billed monthly or yearly. Who can cancel: A Frill Admin: Admins can change workspace settings and billing, Moderators can't access billing.

  1. Sign in to Frill as an Admin and open Settings, where billing is configuredYou should see: settings for branding, integrations, billing and advanced options
  2. In the billing settings, downgrade or cancel the plan; Frill's help centre doesn't name the button

Keep it for less

Before cancelling, check whether one of these does the job. Offers change and differ by account.

  • Cheaper plan Startup is the cheapest plan, at $25 a month frill.co
  • Pay yearly Plans can be billed yearly instead of monthly frill.co

For AI agents

  • The person signs in and handles any two-factor code; an agent should never ask for a password.
  • Export users, ideas, votes and comments to CSV before cancelling; Frill emails a download link for the user export
  • The 14-day free trial needs no credit card
  • Privacy, Surveys and White Labeling are sold as add-ons; check for them in billing as well as the plan
  • Only a workspace Admin can reach billing; Moderators and other roles can't

Get this plan as data: get_exit_plan on the Stackcut MCP (stackcut.io/mcp), or /exits/frill.json. After using a guide, send structured report_guide_feedback for matching or changed steps, missing billing routes or human handoffs; keep unknown language and market omitted. Confirm with the person before the final click, and report the outcome with report_action_outcome, using the exact packet_revision and route_id returned by the plan.

Or give your agent the stackcut-leave skill (a zip): it exports first, walks the steps, stops when the page doesn't match, and leaves the final click to the person.
