How to cancel Framer

Each site has its own plan: in workspace settings open Plans, click the three-dot menu next to the site, Cancel Plan, give feedback and confirm. Benefits last until the billing cycle ends. The editor subscription ends only after the last site plan is cancelled. Enterprise terms follow your Order Form.

The short answer

  • Where: Open your workspace settings and go to the Plans tab.
  • When it ends: Plan benefits stay active until the end of the current billing cycle; once the last site plan is cancelled, the editor subscription ends at the end of its billing cycle.
  • Contract notice: As set in your Order Form (the Terms leave the Enterprise renewal and non-renewal notice period to the Order Form); notices must be in writing to legal@framer.com. How to give notice
  • Before you go: export Assets and pages as images. What to save
  • Want to keep it for less? Free plan and more. Options

Keep it for less

Before cancelling, check whether one of these does the job. Offers change and differ by account.

  • Free plan The Free plan includes a free Framer domain; custom domains and publishing without Framer branding need a paid Site plan framer.com framer.com
  • Cheaper plan Downgrade a Site plan to a cheaper one from the project's Settings, Plans tab; the unused part of the current plan becomes account credit for future invoices (credits are non-refundable) framer.com
  • Fewer seats Remove editors you don't need (Workspace Settings, Members, select the member, Remove from team) or give them view-only access: viewers are free framer.com framer.com framer.com
  • Pay yearly Switch to yearly billing (Settings, Plans, enable Yearly billing): monthly billing typically costs more framer.com

For AI agents

  • The person signs in and handles any two-factor code; an agent should never ask for a password.
  • Retention step: The cancel flow asks for feedback before you confirm
  • Each site is billed on its own plan: cancel every site plan, or the workspace editor subscription keeps renewing
  • If there's no Cancel Plan option, that project has no active subscription
  • Only editing roles are billed; viewers are free
  • Added editors are billed monthly even when the site plan is yearly
  • Cancel subscriptions before deleting the account: deleting it unpublishes all sites and can't be undone
  • Deleting a workspace is permanent; its projects move to each project owner's Archive

Get this plan as data: get_exit_plan on the Stackcut MCP (stackcut.io/mcp), or /exits/framer.json. After using a guide, send structured report_guide_feedback for matching or changed steps, missing billing routes or human handoffs; keep unknown language and market omitted. Confirm with the person before the final click, and report the outcome with report_action_outcome, using the exact packet_revision and route_id returned by the plan.

Or give your agent the stackcut-leave skill (a zip): it exports first, walks the steps, stops when the page doesn't match, and leaves the final click to the person.

Delete your account (separate from cancelling)

Cancelling stops the payments; deleting removes the account and its data. Delete-account page (rated hard).
