How to cancel Fillout

Open your account name, Settings, Billing & usage, then the subscription and click Cancel; the plan runs to the renewal date, then drops to Free. Gotcha: Fillout's terms ask for written notice 30 days before the next billing period, so cancel early. Cancelling Forms doesn't cancel a Zite Apps subscription.

The short answer

  • Where: Click your account name in the upper left corner of the dashboard, then Settings, then Billing & usage (app.zite.com).
  • When it ends: Your current plan stays active until the next renewal date (an annual plan runs to the end of its year), then the account is downgraded to the Free tier automatically.
  • Before you go: export Form responses. What to save
  • Want to keep it for less? Free plan and more. Options

Before you cancel

Export first

  • Form responses: Open a form's responses and click the download icon in the top right; the export follows any filters you've applied (CSV) fillout.com
  • Invoices: In Billing & usage, click an invoice under Invoice History, then Download invoice in the tab that opens fillout.com

What happens to your data

On the Free tier you can still view your forms and submissions, but partial submissions stop being stored. Fillout's terms let it remove account information and settings without notice, and removed data can't be recovered.

What you lose

  • Premium features and paid add-ons
  • Partial submissions (they reappear only for submissions collected after you upgrade again)
  • Integrations, which may be paused or limited
  • Email notifications other than automated response summaries
  • Responses above 1,000 a month across forms

Keep it for less

For AI agents

  • The person signs in and handles any two-factor code; an agent should never ask for a password.
  • The terms ask for written notice 30 days before the next billing period: cancel well ahead of renewal
  • Only organization admins can manage the subscription plan
  • Cancelling Fillout Forms doesn't cancel a Zite Apps subscription: cancel it separately
  • You can't remove your payment method yourself; Fillout support can
  • Seats aren't charged, so removing teammates doesn't lower the bill
  • Deleting the organization needs the Free plan and an empty account, and can't be undone: export responses first
  • An annual plan can only switch to monthly after the current annual subscription ends
  • On a trial with a card added, the account upgrades automatically when the trial ends unless you opt out before then

Get this plan as data: get_exit_plan on the Stackcut MCP (stackcut.io/mcp), or /exits/fillout.json. After using a guide, send structured report_guide_feedback for matching or changed steps, missing billing routes or human handoffs; keep unknown language and market omitted. Confirm with the person before the final click, and report the outcome with report_action_outcome, using the exact packet_revision and route_id returned by the plan.

Or give your agent the stackcut-leave skill (a zip): it exports first, walks the steps, stops when the page doesn't match, and leaves the final click to the person.
