How to cancel E2B

E2B documents no self-serve cancel: the Terms say to email notice to support@e2b.dev and close your account. Pause or kill sandboxes first: only running ones are billed. Last month's usage is charged at the start of the next month. Each project has its own plan and invoice. Enterprise: enterprise@e2b.dev.

The short answer

  • Where: In every project, pause or kill running sandboxes: only running sandboxes are billed, and each project has its own plan and invoice.
  • When it ends: Access to the account and the services ends on the termination date.
  • Want to keep it for less? Free plan and more. Options

Keep it for less

Before cancelling, check whether one of these does the job. Offers change and differ by account.

  • Free plan The Hobby plan has a $0 base price, and new users get $100 in one-time free credits (Pro adds no credits); when credits run out the account is blocked until a payment method is added docs.e2b.dev

For AI agents

  • The person signs in and handles any two-factor code; an agent should never ask for a password.
  • Only running sandboxes are billed: pause or kill sandboxes to stop compute charges
  • Billing is per project: each project keeps its own plan and invoice, so check every project before closing the account
  • Usage is billed per second and charged at the start of the next month, so a bill for the last month's usage still follows
  • A spending limit can be set on the console's budget page (console.e2b.dev, budget tab)
  • Plan upgrades and add-ons are in the console billing tab; a self-serve downgrade or cancel there isn't documented

Get this plan as data: get_exit_plan on the Stackcut MCP (stackcut.io/mcp), or /exits/e2b.json. After using a guide, send structured report_guide_feedback for matching or changed steps, missing billing routes or human handoffs; keep unknown language and market omitted. Confirm with the person before the final click, and report the outcome with report_action_outcome, using the exact packet_revision and route_id returned by the plan.

Or give your agent the stackcut-leave skill (a zip): it exports first, walks the steps, stops when the page doesn't match, and leaves the final click to the person.
