The short answer
- Where: Sign in, open My Account (top right menu), then Subscriptions (app.docparser.com).
- When it ends: At the end of the current billing cycle; no further payments are due and the account reverts to the free plan.
- Before you go: export Parsed data from your documents. What to save
- Want to keep it for less? Free plan and more. Options
Before you cancel
Export first
- Parsed data from your documents: Hover over a document for its Excel Download link, or create a download link inside the parser under Downloads to get many documents at once (Excel, CSV, XML or JSON). Documents are deleted once they pass each parser's Data Retention period (the Terms say 30 calendar days at most), so download before then help.docparser.com help.docparser.com docparser.com
What happens to your data
The account reverts to the free plan; parsers, settings and parsing rules stay for one year unless you delete the account. Documents are deleted after each parser's Data Retention period, and all content is deleted, unrecoverably, when the agreement terminates.
What you lose
- Documents and parsed data once they pass the parser's Data Retention period
- All content and parsed content, with no recovery, when the agreement terminates
Cancel, by who bills you
Pick the route for whoever charges you: the name on your card statement or receipt tells you.

Keep it for less
Before cancelling, check whether one of these does the job. Offers change and differ by account.
- Free plan Cancelling moves the account to the free plan rather than closing it; parsers, settings and parsing rules are kept for one year help.docparser.com
- Cheaper plan Monthly plans: in My Account, Subscription, move the slider to a smaller plan and click Choose Plan. It applies at the end of the billing cycle and you keep your credits help.docparser.com

For AI agents
- The person signs in and handles any two-factor code; an agent should never ask for a password.
- Free accounts can't be cancelled because nothing is being paid
- Cancel at least 7 working days before the plan period ends, or it renews for the same length
- Download parsed data before cancelling: documents are kept for 30 days at most
- Deleting the account (My Account, Delete Your Account) is a separate step from cancelling
Get this plan as data: get_exit_plan on the Stackcut MCP (stackcut.io/mcp), or /exits/docparser.json. After using a guide, send structured report_guide_feedback for matching or changed steps, missing billing routes or human handoffs; keep unknown language and market omitted. Confirm with the person before the final click, and report the outcome with report_action_outcome, using the exact packet_revision and route_id returned by the plan.
Or give your agent the stackcut-leave skill (a zip): it exports first, walks the steps, stops when the page doesn't match, and leaves the final click to the person.
