How to cancel Daytona

Daytona is pay-as-you-go: delete every sandbox first (snapshots stay billed for storage), since you stay responsible for usage before you cancel. Personal organizations can't be deleted. Close your account after paying outstanding fees; a final billing summary follows within 5 business days.

The short answer

  • Where: In the Daytona Dashboard, open your organization and delete all sandboxes across all projects, then check that no active resources remain (app.daytona.io).
  • When it ends: On termination. Charges for earlier usage can post during a 48-hour settlement window; usage first reported more than 48 hours after cancelling isn't charged, and no charge comes more than 30 calendar days after.
  • Before you go: export Invoices. What to save
  • Want to keep it for less? Free plan and more. Options

Before you cancel

Export first

  • Invoices: In the Wallet's Invoices section, click the three-dot button next to an invoice, click View, then optionally download it daytona.io

What happens to your data

The Terms give no deletion period for sandboxes, files or other customer content after an account closes.

What you lose

  • Memory state of running sandboxes, which a stop does not keep (the filesystem is preserved)
  • Access to the Services once the account is closed

Get this plan as data: get_exit_plan on the Stackcut MCP (stackcut.io/mcp), or /exits/daytona.json. After using a guide, send structured report_guide_feedback for matching or changed steps, missing billing routes or human handoffs; keep unknown language and market omitted. Confirm with the person before the final click, and report the outcome with report_action_outcome, using the exact packet_revision and route_id returned by the plan.

Or give your agent the stackcut-leave skill (a zip): it exports first, walks the steps, stops when the page doesn't match, and leaves the final click to the person.
