How to cancel Cartesia

Before the monthly renewal date (counted from purchase), click the cancel subscription button or email support@cartesia.ai. You keep the tier and your credits until the period ends. Gotcha: if you turned overages on, they bill on top of the plan until you turn them off; payments are nonrefundable.

What happens to your data

If an account is deleted, Cartesia may, but doesn't have to, delete your content. A trial account's content and data stop being available if you don't buy a paid plan.

  • The paid tier's monthly credits and features
  • Professional Voice Clone slots (Startup has 2, Scale 4): the Free and Pro plans don't include them

  2. If you turned overages on, turn them off so extra usage stops being billed on top of the plan; requests beyond your allotment then fail
  3. In the Subscription tab at play.cartesia.ai/subscription, click the cancel subscription button before your renewal date, or email support@cartesia.ai to cancel
  4. Check the usage page in the playground for the usage on your account

  • Cheaper plan Move to a lower tier: the change applies at the end of the period, and you keep all the credits you've already paid for (the rollover cap resets to 2x the new plan's monthly rate) cartesia.ai

For AI agents

  • The person signs in and handles any two-factor code; an agent should never ask for a password.
  • Overages are opt-in for paid users: if they're on, turn them off to stop usage charges past the allotment; requests then fail until the next renewal or an upgrade
  • Cancel before the monthly renewal date; there are no refunds or credits for a partly used month
  • Email support@cartesia.ai works as an alternative to the cancel subscription button
  • Cartesia can change plans or prices after reasonable notice
