How to cancel Resend

A team Admin cancels on the Billing page: three dots next to the plan, then Cancel Subscription; paid fees are non-refundable. Deleting the team (Team Settings, Delete Team) permanently erases its API keys, domains and email data, so export CSVs first. Your login account is deleted separately in Profile Settings.

The short answer

  • Where: Go to the Billing page in Settings (resend.com).
  • When it ends: Subscriptions are billed in advance and renew at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled, so a cancelled plan does not renew.
  • Before you go: export Emails, broadcasts, contacts, segments, domains, logs and API keys. What to save
  • Want to keep it for less? Free plan and more. Options

Before you cancel

Export first

  • Emails, broadcasts, contacts, segments, domains, logs and API keys: An Admin applies filters on the dashboard page and clicks Export; larger exports arrive as an emailed download link (CSV). Admins only; every team Admin can access an export for 7 days. Email data is kept 30 days on the Free, Pro and Scale plans resend.com resend.com
  • The team's suppression list (bounced, complained and manually suppressed addresses): Open the Suppressions page and click Download CSV, or list suppressions with the API (CSV) resend.com

What happens to your data

Email data is kept for 30 days on self-serve plans. Deleting a team deletes all its data; a deleted account and its data are queued for permanent deletion.

What you lose

  • The team's API keys, domains and email data when the team is deleted
  • The team's suppression list, which applies across all its domains
  • Paid sending volume and domains: the Free plan allows at most 100 transactional emails a day and 3 verified domains

For AI agents

  • The person signs in and handles any two-factor code; an agent should never ask for a password.
  • Cancel the plan on the Billing page before deleting the team: the help pages don't say whether deleting a team cancels its subscription
  • Deleting your login account is separate: you must first leave or delete every team, and leaving a team others still use does not delete it
  • If you are the last member, leaving the team permanently deletes it and all its data
  • Export the suppression list (CSV) and any emails, contacts or domains you need before deleting the team
  • Invoices and billing notices go to a single billing email address per team
  • Add-ons are billed monthly (a dedicated IP at $30 a month on Scale, a domains add-on at $20 a month); the docs don't say whether cancelling removes them, so check the next invoice

Get this plan as data: get_exit_plan on the Stackcut MCP (stackcut.io/mcp), or /exits/resend.json. After using a guide, send structured report_guide_feedback for matching or changed steps, missing billing routes or human handoffs; keep unknown language and market omitted. Confirm with the person before the final click, and report the outcome with report_action_outcome, using the exact packet_revision and route_id returned by the plan.

Or give your agent the stackcut-leave skill (a zip): it exports first, walks the steps, stops when the page doesn't match, and leaves the final click to the person.
