How to cancel Placid

Cancel any time in your Placid account settings; access and credits last until the billing period ends, and a full refund can be requested in the first 30 days. Paddle is the merchant of record, so paddle.net can also cancel. Gotcha: only a project's Owner holds the subscription.

The short answer

  • Where: Sign in to Placid and open your account settings.
  • When it ends: You keep access, and can use your remaining credits, until the end of the billing period you paid for.
  • Billed by someone else? Cancel with them instead: a partner.
  • Want to keep it for less? Cheaper plan and more. Options

For AI agents

  • The person signs in and handles any two-factor code; an agent should never ask for a password.
  • A charge from Paddle on a card statement can be for Placid: Paddle is Placid's merchant of record
  • Team members don't need their own subscription: the project Owner's plan and credits are what's billed
  • Project ownership can't be changed in the team settings; to transfer it, contact Placid support
  • Use up remaining credits before the billing period ends
  • There's no free plan, but the free trial needs no credit card

Get this plan as data: get_exit_plan on the Stackcut MCP (stackcut.io/mcp), or /exits/placid.json. After using a guide, send structured report_guide_feedback for matching or changed steps, missing billing routes or human handoffs; keep unknown language and market omitted. Confirm with the person before the final click, and report the outcome with report_action_outcome, using the exact packet_revision and route_id returned by the plan.

Or give your agent the stackcut-leave skill (a zip): it exports first, walks the steps, stops when the page doesn't match, and leaves the final click to the person.
