How to cancel Opus Clip

On the web, open the Dashboard, click the Crown icon to reach the subscription page, and cancel; it takes effect at the next billing cycle. iOS App Store subscriptions are cancelled in Apple's Settings. Gotcha: projects become inaccessible 3 days after the plan ends, so export clips first.

The short answer

  • Where: Export the clips you want to keep (see export) (clip.opus.pro).
  • When it ends: At the start of the next billing cycle: you can use the subscription until the end of the current term, and it won't renew.
  • Billed by someone else? Cancel with them instead: Apple.
  • Before you go: export Clips and projects. What to save
  • Want to keep it for less? Cheaper plan and more. Options

Keep it for less

Before cancelling, check whether one of these does the job. Offers change and differ by account.

  • Cheaper plan Move from Pro Monthly to Starter with Change plan on the subscription page; it takes effect at the end of the billing cycle. Pro Yearly can't switch directly: cancel, then resubscribe on Starter help.opus.pro help.opus.pro
  • Fewer seats With more than one pack, reduce the packs you buy each month with Add or remove packs/seats; it takes effect at the end of the billing cycle help.opus.pro help.opus.pro
  • Free plan Switch to the Free plan (60 minutes of credits, watermarked videos). It's only allowed with under 30 minutes of credits left, and paid features end immediately help.opus.pro
  • Pay yearly Yearly plans give cheaper credits that last 12 months, against a 60-day limit on monthly plans help.opus.pro

For AI agents

  • The person signs in and handles any two-factor code; an agent should never ask for a password.
  • Retention step: The cancel screen lists the features you'll lose and asks: Are you absolutely sure you want to cancel?
  • If you subscribed in the iOS app, Apple handles cancellation and refunds, not OpusClip
  • There's no pause option: cancel, then resubscribe when you come back
  • Free Pro trials turn into the Free Forever plan after 7 days, so there's nothing to cancel
  • Export clips before cancelling: projects become inaccessible 3 days after the plan ends

Get this plan as data: get_exit_plan on the Stackcut MCP (stackcut.io/mcp), or /exits/opus_clip.json. After using a guide, send structured report_guide_feedback for matching or changed steps, missing billing routes or human handoffs; keep unknown language and market omitted. Confirm with the person before the final click, and report the outcome with report_action_outcome, using the exact packet_revision and route_id returned by the plan.

Or give your agent the stackcut-leave skill (a zip): it exports first, walks the steps, stops when the page doesn't match, and leaves the final click to the person.
