How to cancel Didit

Didit bills pay-as-you-go from prepaid credits with no contract or minimum, so there is no subscription to cancel. Closing the account is not a self-serve step: email hello@didit.me. Unused credits are forfeited when you close, and purchases are non-refundable.

The short answer

  • Where: Before closing, download what you need: the PDF for a session (Verifications, then Download PDF), or a CSV export from the Verifications list (didit.me).
  • When it ends: Immediately when the agreement ends: all licenses and rights end, and unused credits are forfeited.
  • Before you go: export Verification reports. What to save

Before you cancel

Export first

  • Verification reports: Open a session in Verifications and click Download PDF; for one user's history, open the user's detail page and choose Actions, then Download PDF; for many sessions, use the CSV export from the Verifications list (PDF or CSV). A user-history PDF is capped at the 20 most recent qualifying sessions; sessions still In Progress or Not Started have no report yet help.didit.me help.didit.me
  • Invoices for each top-up: Open Settings > Billing in the Business Console and download the invoice for each top-up help.didit.me

What happens to your data

Verification data follows the retention you set per application (App Settings, then Data retention: 1 month to 10 years, or unlimited); the Terms' default is indefinite. On termination Didit deletes or returns personal data, at your choice.

What you lose

  • Unused purchased credits, which are forfeited when you close the account
  • Access to the console and API once the agreement ends
  • The team, balance and history, if support deletes the whole organization
  • Deleted sessions, which can't be restored

For AI agents

  • The person signs in and handles any two-factor code; an agent should never ask for a password.
  • There is no self-serve way to delete an application, including a sandbox one; closing the account isn't self-serve either, so use email
  • Credits don't expire while the agreement is in effect, but closing the account forfeits them: spend or plan around the balance first
  • A zero balance pauses new paid checks, but the console and historical results stay accessible
  • Ongoing AML Monitoring renews; the pricing page says 'Turn monitoring off any time to stop the renewal.'
  • Formal notices under the Terms go to legal@didit.me; billing and account requests go to hello@didit.me

Get this plan as data: get_exit_plan on the Stackcut MCP (stackcut.io/mcp), or /exits/didit.json. After using a guide, send structured report_guide_feedback for matching or changed steps, missing billing routes or human handoffs; keep unknown language and market omitted. Confirm with the person before the final click, and report the outcome with report_action_outcome, using the exact packet_revision and route_id returned by the plan.

Or give your agent the stackcut-leave skill (a zip): it exports first, walks the steps, stops when the page doesn't match, and leaves the final click to the person.

Not confirmed yet

  • Didit's help pages don't describe closing an account; the Terms let the client close it at any time, and the support page sends billing and account-access requests to email
  • The help pages don't say how to turn auto-refill off
  • The public pages don't say how to remove a saved card or bank account
  • Enterprise Order Forms aren't public, so their term, renewal and notice rules are unconfirmed; the public Terms give no notice period for the client
