Keep it for less
Before cancelling, check whether one of these does the job. Offers change and differ by account.
- Cheaper plan In Subscription details, choose Change Plan, pick a lower plan and click Confirm Plan Change; this self-serve downgrade covers AI Suite and Max plans (for other plans, contact Artlist). The new plan starts on your next renewal date (you aren't charged that day), and credits reset when it starts help.artlist.io help.artlist.io
- Pay yearly Monthly payers (monthly billing exists only for Music & SFX Social and AI Suite) can switch to annual billing for better value by contacting Artlist; eligible yearly subscriptions can be moved to monthly within 14 days of purchase help.artlist.io
- Free plan The free trial has no time limit and stays free unless you subscribe to a plan help.artlist.io
For AI agents
- The person signs in and handles any two-factor code; an agent should never ask for a password.
- Retention step: Subscription details offers Change Plan (a downgrade) next to Cancel Renewal
- Add every project that uses Artlist assets to the clearlist while the plan is still active: an active plan is required to publish projects with Artlist assets
- Asking for a refund? Don't download, generate or use assets after paying: that voids the 14-day refund
- Cancel at least 14 days before renewal: the Terms of Use ask for notice within 14 calendar days before the next billing cycle
- A free trial needs no cancelling: it stays free unless you subscribe
- An account can't be deleted while a subscription is active
Get this plan as data: get_exit_plan on the Stackcut MCP (stackcut.io/mcp), or /exits/artlist.json. After using a guide, send structured report_guide_feedback for matching or changed steps, missing billing routes or human handoffs; keep unknown language and market omitted. Confirm with the person before the final click, and report the outcome with report_action_outcome, using the exact packet_revision and route_id returned by the plan.
Or give your agent the stackcut-leave skill (a zip): it exports first, walks the steps, stops when the page doesn't match, and leaves the final click to the person.
Delete your account (separate from cancelling)
Cancelling stops the payments; deleting removes the account and its data. Delete-account page (rated hard).
