How to cancel IMDbPro

Cancel on a desktop computer: open Cancel Membership in Account Settings (or Cancel at the bottom of any page), select Continue to cancel, then Confirm cancellation; without that last click nothing is cancelled. The IMDbPro apps can't cancel. Access lasts until the membership period ends.

What happens to your data

If you renew Premium within 12 months of cancelling, your page's images, demo reels and customizations are restored within 24 hours. Items managed through a Basic Subscription can't be recovered. How long other account data is kept isn't stated.

What you lose

  • On Premium: images and photos uploaded through the membership, demo reels and primary video customizations; Known For credits and professions revert to IMDb's algorithm
  • On Premium: your IMDb page itself, if it has no verified filmography credits when you cancel
  • On Basic: page management, Page Controls, self-verified information, awards and credits, and your Vanity URL, which can't be recovered

Online, self-serve IMDbPro memberships billed by IMDbPro, such as the Premium Subscription (the Basic Subscription is free). Who can cancel: The member, signed in to IMDbPro on a desktop computer.
